Training:
Read the Service Specification in full and complete the necessary training/CPD to provide the service.
Claims:
Your quarterly return should be submitted via the PharmOutcomes ‘Humber Palliative Care Quarterly Fee Claim’ Platform for the following quarters: Quarter 1: 1st April to 30th June; Quarter 2: 1st July to 30th September; Quarter 3: 1st October to 31st December; and Quarter 4: 1st January to 31st March. Please use the stock check lists to help you monitor and maintain the correct medications and quantities.
Invoices will be generated automatically on the 4th of the month.
Pharmacies can claim for their initial stock investment and any new drugs introduced into the service [Part A] or [Part A & Part B] as indicated in their SLA contract via the ‘Stock Reimbursement Claim’ Platform . Please only order drugs relevant to your contract agreement.
If a medication in part A or B date expires before it is supplied, you will need to replace it immediately and claim for a ‘Stock Reimbursement Claim’ on PO.
New sites can claim a one-off service ‘Set Up Fee’ claim via PO.
If you experience any stock procurement problem during the life of the service, you must report these via the ‘Humber Palliative Care Medication Supply Issue Notification’ Platform on PO.
