Clinical support to deliver NHS prescribing pharmacy services webinar – 9th November

NHS England will host a webinar at 6.30-7.30 pm on 9th November 2026 for Community Pharmacy contractors and interested pharmacists on the new upcoming NHS community pharmacy prescribing arrangements, updates to Pharmacy First and the Pharmacy Contraception Service, the five new Pharmacy First prescribing pathways and the supporting clinical guidance. NHS England will also explore the clinical considerations needed to deliver safe, effective and high-quality patient care, and showcase the training and learning resources available to support pharmacy teams when prescribing becomes part of NHS community pharmacy services.

Pharmacy owners, pharmacists, and other pharmacy colleagues can book their place via the NHS England website.

Colleagues are also reminded that documents to support contractor readiness and implementation of NHS Community Pharmacy Prescribing are available as final drafts on the NHSBSA website.
