Free Prostate Cancer awareness sessions for all
To mark Prostate Cancer awareness month (March), Humber and North Yorkshire Cancer Alliance is supporting national campaigns to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer, by offering a short 15 minute online cancer awareness session that anyone can attend.
Did you know…
- Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK
- Over 62,000 men are diagnosed each year
- 1 in 8 of those born male will be diagnosed with prostate cancer
- this can also include trans women and non-binary people, who haven’t had their prostate removed.
Please join one of our online sessions and learn more about;
- the signs and symptoms of prostate cancer
- how the government is helping to check if you are at risk
- how to reduce your risk of getting prostate cancer
These sessions are open to anyone living and/or working within the Humber and North Yorkshire area.
Dates for the virtual sessions, which lasts 15 minutes are;
- Monday 2 March at 11:00 am
- Wednesday 11 March at 10:00 am
- Wednesday 18 March at 7:00 pm
- Friday 20 March at 3:00 pm
- Thursday 26 March at 12:00 noon
- Tuesday 31 March at 1:00 pm
