Domestic Abuse Awareness Webinar:
Wednesday 11th of September 12-1pm
This webinar aims to share key messages about domestic abuse alongside information about support. There is no limit to the number of staff able to attend, and a recording of the session can be made available to staff unable to attend on the day. This webinar is an hour long and covers the following topics:
- Definitions and types of abuse.
- Prevalence, dynamics, and impacts of DA.
- Reach in – We will talk about the signs staff may notice in the workplace, the basic principles of responding well, and the importance of staff reaching in to survivors who very often don’t see a path to support, including talking about our #ReachIn campaign.
- Care pathways.
We’ll look at the support options available to survivors and those using abusive behaviours within the workplace, locally and nationally.
