Hypertension case-finding service

The Hypertension case-finding service was commissioned as an Advanced service from 1st October 2021.

In public-facing communications, the service is described as the NHS Blood Pressure Check Service.

Please note, CPE’s page has been updated to reflect the service requirements from 1st December 2023; please see their news story for further details.

From 1st December 2023, the service should be provided by suitably trained and competent pharmacy staff. On the CPE page, the term “pharmacy staff” will be used to denote pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and other non-registered members of the pharmacy team.
